Eldercare Advisor Margie Gonzales

Director of Referral Services Margie Gonzales is a hands-on elder care advisor who brings two decades of healthcare expertise to her role at Assisted Living Locators Silicon Valley. Drawn to older adult services through her own touching personal experiences as a hospice volunteer, Margie consistently delivers empathetic, professional care to our clients and their loved ones.

Prior to joining the Assisted Living Locators Silicon Valley team she put into daily practice her in-depth knowledge of adult learning and life-long cognitive development as the Training Class Coordinator for a revolutionary global education initiative providing advanced training for healthcare professionals in the field of diabetes treatment and research.

Margie also has been a volunteer at San Jose’s Good Samaritan Hospital for many years, where she is the Facilitator for the hospital’s Patient Services and Cuddling Program, as well as the Chairperson for No Ones Dies Alone (NODA). In these patient centric roles, Margie supports the hospital’s mission of bringing competent, compassionate care and comfort to the complete person— mind, body and spirit—enhancing the patient experience and helping to bring peace of mind to patients and their families.

She views her volunteer work as a logical extension of her role at Assisted Living Locators Silicon Valley, where she functions as a total patient advocate to help reduce stress around finding the best fit for each client’s unique circumstances

Margie also has worked as a bilingual community outreach administrator, going out into the field to raise awareness around disease and its prevention. Her vast personal and professional experiences in healthcare, community outreach and older adult services make her uniquely qualified to find the best, long-term fit for your needs.

She lives in Campbell with her husband and two children. She currently is pursuing her certification as a Senior Advisor.
